Design The HTC Hero features a 3.2 inch touch screen designed for use with the user's fingers. The Hero has a total of eight hard buttons plus a track ball. Volume is situated on the side and across the bottom is the call, Home, Menu and Hang up buttons. Just below these is the Back and Search buttons. Connectivity is accessed via micro USB and memory via micro SD. The device has a 5.0 mega pixel camera and features both speakers and 3.5mm headphone jack. The HTC Hero uses a Qualcomm processor. Usability and Functionality The HTC Hero uses Android 1.5 as its operating system with the HTC sense user interface. Both are simple to use and intuitive. Android allows the user to have several pages which can feature functions on the phone or apps that can be downloaded. |
